A fashion collection is not put together overnight. Gain experience from the client-facing cashier to assisting the team of Peek & Cloppenburg's online store with the planning and creation of the new collection. Analyse sales, accompany buyers to supplier appointments and make sure the new season is looking impeccable.

What does the picture mean for you?
I received the card from one of our interns. The card is hand-made. It always reminds me that the work I’m doing for the candidates or interns has an impact on their lives and their personal development. So I always try to give my best!
What role does fun play in your workplace?
You spent a lot of time at work and if you want to give more than 100% every day, you need to feel comfortable in the team you are working in. Fun and laughter therefore plays a big role in our workplace. We also spent time together in our free time, going to the Christmas market or doing sport activities.
Is there something that you are aspiring to do in the future?
As we are working in the fashion retail sector you never know what comes next :) The industry is very dynamic, so you have to adapt to different challenges. But as a family-owned and led company with a 100-year-old history, we always seriously consider which trends we follow and which not. For me personally, working in the employer branding sector means that we definitely need to recruit and retain the best talents, which are flexible and passionate to shape the future with us.
What advice would you give to students wanting to join Peek & Cloppenburg?
Just be authentic and show your personality. It would also be good to get every information you can get from the company's website, blog, Facebook, so that you are well prepared!
