What is Blind Applying?
Blind Applying is a worldwide career campaign for students, initiated by Deutsche Telekom and powered by Entrypark.
Top companies offer secret internships in various fields around the world. Students from all fields of study can apply! You don’t know the employer, the location, or the field you’ll be working on, so be ready for a surprise!
Who can take part?
Every enrolled student is invited to apply. It doesn't matter what you study, where you're from or if you are at the beginning or near the end of your studies. The only requirement is enrollment during the entire duration of the internship in summer 2017.
I am graduating soon/ I am a recent grad/ I am a PhD student. Can I apply?
Only enrolled students can be considered for the Blind Applying internships. But feel free to upload your CV/résumé if you are a recent grad or a PhD student, as employers are always in the lookout for top talent. They can contact you for other job opportunities, internships or graduate programs outside the scope of Blind Applying.
When is the application period?
The application period starts from November 1st, 2016 until December 11th, 2016.
Are the internships paid?
Yes, we believe that every champion should be able to accept their internship offer, regardless of financial status or internship destination. The selected intern receives a salary set by the company. Additionally, it is also possible to receive financial support for travel and housing costs, depending on the internship location. Some companies even provide for an apartment.
Is it guaranteed that I get an internship?
No, we cannot give you a guarantee. But your application will be considered by the companies. You will receive an answer, no matter whether you are one of the selected candidates or not.
What if I don’t get an internship?
By filling out the online form, you are automatically creating a free profile on Entrypark.com. This is an easy way to receive personalized offers for other fitting jobs, internships or programs from global top employers. Your CV/résumé is also included in the talent pool out of which the Blind Applying employers can consider you for other great opportunities.
Do I need a cover letter?
Absolutely no need! We want to make the whole process as easy as possible for you. The companies will select their candidates based on matching skills, interests and qualifications. All you need to do is to fill out your profile and upload your CV/résumé.
How do I know if I am qualified for any of the internships?
You can’t know for which internship you might be the most suitable fit, so you have nothing to lose by applying with just your CV/résumé. All applicants will be considered for all of the internships, and if one of the companies selects you as the best candidate for their internship, you get it. You may win an internship that you would not have known about otherwise. Fortune favours the bold!
How do I know for which internship I am applying?
That's the secret! You are applying for all of them. If you are invited for an interview in January, you will of course know by which company and for which internship. If you receive an offer, you can still decide if you want to take it or not.
If I am selected for an internship, when does it start?
All internships are scheduled to begin in Summer 2017 and will last for at least 3 months. The exact starting dates are negotiated between the company offering the internship and the selected candidate.
What if I don’t like the location or the business area of the internship?
Don't worry! This is unfortunate, but can happen. You have no obligations to accept an offer you don't like.
Can this internship count as the obligatory internship within my curriculum?
Yes, that is possible.
Some of the companies are new to me. Where can I find more information about them?
In the Employers section of the site, you can get a proper idea of the employers’ scale and class. For more information, follow us on Facebook to catch up on all of our employer profile posts under the #WeAreTheEmployers hashtag.
I am not sure if I will be available for the internships. Should I apply anyway?
Absolutely. All applicants can receive additional invitations from any of the Blind Applying employers after the application period is over. Stay tuned and keep your profile updated to receive matching invitations from top employers!
Can I apply in languages other than English?
No, English is the only language accepted for Blind Applying applications. Most of the internships require English. But mention additional languages you speak in your CV/résumé!
